Central Data's scsiPrint Server provides three parallel ports forSPARC(TM) workstations without consuming any SBus slots. One of the portsis DMA-driven and handles speeds up to 236 KB per second for superbprinter/plotter performance. The scsiPrint Server simply plugs into thesystem's SCSI port, consuming only one SCSI address. Multiple scsiPrintServers can be daisy-chained together for up to 21 parallel ports off asingle SCSI bus. scsiPrint Servers can also share the same SCSI bus withCentral Data's line of scsiTerminal Servers or with other SCSIperipherals. A STREAMS-based Solaris(R) driver is provided.
